I wrote lyrics inspired by the statements expressed by the women on the V-Day site...the reasons PEOPLE ARE RISING & quote Eve Ensler and Tony Porter www.acalltomen.org as well. I invited some good friends who all generously donated their talents: Nick Rolfe, Will Lee, Ken Rich, Rozz Nash-Coulon, Shawn Pelton, Elaine Caswell, Tomek Miernowski, and Martha Redbone.

Martha Redbone closes the song with "Anagehya" a Cherokee traditional women's honoring song.
